“M” is for the million things she gave me,
“O” means only that she’s growing old,
“T” is for the tears she shed to save me,
“H” is for her heart of purest gold;
“E” is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
“R” means right, and right she’ll always be,
Put them all together, they spell “MOTHER,”
A word that means the world to me.
Most people go their entire lives looking for someone who can love and accept them unconditionally but never actually find someone like that. However, for me, that someone is my Mom.
This is a tribute to someone who, in my opinion, is the world’s best Mom and the definition of a Mother.
Happy Mother’s Day. Where would I be without you? Honestly, I have no clue. You taught me basically everything that I know and for that, I’m forever grateful.
Words cannot explain how beautiful I think you are. Words will never be enough to explain how beautiful you always are, both inside and out.
You are the most amazing, caring, loving, compassionate, selfless and giving woman I have ever known. I am thankful everyday that I am able to call you my mother.
You constantly amaze me with the ways in which you always put others before yourself. You’re always trying your best to make everyone else feel comfortable and that’s something I admire so much about you. You make me want to be a better person and I am so grateful to God for your presence in my life.
If I had to describe you in one word, it would be generous. You are so generous with your time, with yourself, with the way you always help out anybody in need and with the way you always want to make someone else’s day better and brighter.
Mom, words cannot do you justice but I just want to say thank you for always being there for me, for all the advice you’ve given me, for being a positive influence in my life. Thank you for teaching me about God. Thank you for sacrificing everything for me and my sister. Thank you for being my best friend and my mom. Thank you for always reminding me that I am wonderfully and beautifully created by God. Thank you for being the rock of our family, for teaching us how to be as compassionate and as kind as you are, for being an inspiration, for being my role model but most of all, thank you for being you.
I love you so much more than I can ever say.
In conclusion, I’d like to say Happy Mother’s Day to all the other mothers, mother figures and those who have lost a child (born or unborn), you all rock!
Also, for those who are having a bittersweet day and/or have lost a mother figure in their life, may you be comforted in your loss and may the joy of the Lord be your strength.
