I’m so sad that Christmas is officially over but talking about what I got for Christmas this year makes me really excited and should compensate, right?
Anytime I read these kind of posts on other blogs, I always see a disclaimer about how they’re not trying to brag and blah blah blah but honestly, who cares? People have a choice as to whether or not they want to read the post so it’s whatever and stating what I got as gifts from people who love me on my blog isn’t bragging in my opinion so if it counts as bragging to you, you don’t have to read this post.
However, if you’re genuinely curious, let’s get into it!
My wish list always included a Mac, Sorels and an Instax mini but since I already got all those things earlier in the year, I didn’t really have a list of what I wanted so whenever anyone asked, I just said nothing. However, I have the best family and friends so they still got me gifts 🙂
Trevor got me these patterned leggings and Canada mitts. I’ve always wanted mitts that have Canada written on them, I’m not entirely sure why though. He took me to the store to pick them out and I love them so much. I’ve never really been a fan of leggings that aren’t plain black (boring, I know) but these leggings are really cute and so so soft. Honestly, they feel so good on my skin that whenever I wear them, I don’t stop touching my legs haha.
My sister gave me this princess crown necklace in addition to an envelope filled with cash (best gift ever, seriously) and I love it so much. She said she thought about me when she saw it online because I always “joke” about being a princess (I’m always serious when I say it though). I couldn’t really take a closer picture just because it’s a necklace but it has a cute little heart in the middle of the crown and my birthstone, a diamond, at the top. It’s so adorable and so is the packaging.
Trevor’s mom got me a nightshirt, bedroom slippers, a magazine and a keychain that came from the same company that made the leggings Trevor got me. I love the nightshirt so much, it’s the cutest thing ever. I’m probably the only one that found it funny (lmao) but the saying on it made me laugh so hard, mostly because I didn’t get it for the 2 minutes I stared at it. Haha it’s corny, but so hilarious. I also love the slippers; they were so comfy when I tried them on. I decided to wait till next year to start using them though.
My family friends got me a lot of socks as well and I’m so happy about them because who doesn’t love new, comfy socks? I also have an obsession with buying new socks instead of washing them (something that has to end in 2017) so this was a welcome gift. I also got a peach long sleeved shirt with the cutest sleeves. It looks even better in person but I’ll definitely be taking lots of pictures in it next year!
I got me the cutest bikini top and bottom ever! Like I mentioned earlier, I don’t usually like or buy patterned things but I think this pattern is so pretty and different. I’m so in love with how these look and I can’t wait to wear them next summer.
I also got gift cards to places like Sears, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Subway, etc. I personally think gift cards are a safe alternative if you don’t know what to get someone and I’d rather get a gift card than a gift I have to pretend to like haha. My sister and I already used the Subway card and I used my Sears card to purchase a pair of ankle boots on Boxing day so I’m anxiously waiting for them to arrive!
Things I didn’t photograph include money and clothes from my mom, makeup wipes, lots of nail polish, the air freshener gel thingy I’m obsessed with, perfumes, skin care stuff and a charm bracelet I had on in my last post (lol I broke it already).
Thank you so much to everyone who got me something, I really appreciate each and every single one of you and I pray that you’re all as blessed as you make me feel.
Also, thank you to my readers, you all rock. I swear anytime I see the amount of views I get on each post, it makes me so giddy haha I always think “wow people actually take the time to read what I write”, it’s a great feeling so thank you for reading!
What did you get? And what would you like to see me write about? Let me know down below!
