Weekend Chronicles #4

My dear readers, I’m back for another summary of my not so exciting weekends!

Before I get into it, I just want to say how much I actually love this series already. It’s really nice being able to go back and read about what I did on a particular weekend. It brings back all the memories of that weekend which is really nice!

Friday:

I didn’t really do much before my 5-close shift. I was just in bed, on my phone till I had to start getting ready for work. This is really weird but anytime I’m working in the evenings, I always feel like I have no time to do anything else, even though in reality, I have like 7 hours from the time I wake up. Is it just me or can anyone relate?

My shift at work was really boring, like always, but the highlight of my evening was when my coworker showed me his vacation paycheck and he got paid $2.57 hahaha. I don’t know why it’s so funny but I literally laugh when I think of it. Like, why bother giving him a check to deposit? And just imagine how awkward that would be at the bank.

Saturday:

After getting off work at 5pm, I made plans to hang out with my boyfriend but I decided to stay with my mom and sister instead because we were having fun. That quickly changed when I realized my mom’s friends were coming over with their kids hahaha. I texted Trevor and I was like “I change my mind, please come get me”. Anyway, I ended up going over to his place and we watched Black Mirror on Netflix. The show was kind of confusing when we first started watching it because all the episodes are completely different; different settings, plots, people, etc. We still love it though so if you’re looking for something different to watch, we recommend it!

Sunday:

I went to church in the morning and after I got back, I did a bunch of cooking (mainly because I didn’t have anything else to do) and spent majority of the time dancing in the kitchen to Spanish songs with the maracas Trevor got me from Mexico. Later in the evening, I just chilled in my pjs and fell asleep watching Guardians of the Galaxy. Haha still watching it as I type this, great movie!

My weekend was obviously boring to read about so if you made it this far, thanks for reading! How was your weekend?Life with Precious
